How We Work

How an Engagement Runs.

What Verdict does, what you see, and where the line between the two sits.

Verdict is engaged to run a compliance program, not to sell you a tool to run it yourself. What follows is what that actually looks like from the client side, from the first conversation through the ongoing work.

We start from what is actually being asked of you.

Before anything else we work out which frameworks you genuinely answer to and which you do not. Organizations routinely arrive believing they need one thing and leave knowing they need something narrower, or broader. Scoping this honestly at the start is what keeps the rest of the work from being wasted.

We build the record, control by control.

For each control in scope we establish how your systems meet it, write the implementation statement that says so, and attach the evidence that backs it up. Where a control is not met, that becomes a finding with an owner and a remediation plan rather than a gap that quietly goes unmentioned.

Our people do the work, on our platform.

The platform is what makes this fast and consistent across every control and every framework. It is ours, we operate it, and there is nothing for your team to install, configure, or learn. You are engaging a firm, and the software is how that firm works.

You review everything through the portal.

You get a client portal showing the current state of the program: every control and how it is met, every open finding and who owns it, the remediation plans, and the evidence references behind each one. You can review it, challenge it, and act on it, and you can hand it to whoever is asking to see it.

It stays current after the deadline passes.

The failure mode in compliance is a record that was true on the day it was written and drifted afterward. Your systems change, the frameworks change, and the record has to keep up. We maintain it as an ongoing engagement rather than rebuilding it from scratch each time someone asks.

What you are left holding is a system of record for the proof of compliance, kept current by people whose job it is to keep it current.
