Daanish co-founded Verdict Technologies and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. He sets the direction of the firm and its practice across federal authorization, commercial assurance, and AI governance.
Starting Verdict meant building the firm we wished existed, because compliance kept slowing down the teams we admired most. My job is to make sure it never does that here. We build so the people doing important work can keep moving.
The decision that defines the firm is that we operate the software ourselves rather than selling it. Handing an organization a tool and a login moves the burden without lifting it. Someone still has to learn the system, run it, and keep it fed, and that someone is usually the person who was already too busy. Taking the work rather than the tooling is the whole point.
What I spend most of my attention on is whether the record we produce would survive someone determined to find a hole in it. That is the only standard that matters in this work, because eventually somebody applies it.
